Fujitsu chosen for Dow Jones Sustainability World Index for 22nd time
Fujitsu – 22nd Inclusion in DJSI World, the Leading Global Stock Index Based on ESG Criteria
DJSI World is a stock index offered by the American S&P Dow Jones Indices, selecting companies for their excellence in sustainability based on an analysis of management and economics, environmental impact, and societal factors.
Including Fujitsu, 321 companies were selected for DJSI World in 2023, with 38 of them being Japanese. Fujitsu achieved high scores in the IT services and software industry group, as well as internet services, based on its initiatives in management and economics, such as “Business Ethics” and “Innovation Management.” It also excelled in environmental initiatives like “Environmental Policy and Management Systems” and “Emissions,” along with its societal efforts, including initiatives like “Human Capital Development” and “Work Practice Indicators.”
Fujitsu will continue to enhance its business activities from an ESG perspective to achieve its goal expressed in the Fujitsu Way – “to make the world more sustainable by building trust in society through innovation.” Additionally, the company will further increase its efforts to contribute to the sustainable development of society and the planet.
