Higher Education and Research System sign partnership to create wellbeing society and develop space technologies, contribute to the achievement of the SDGs and Society 5.0 : Fujitsu Global

Fujitsu and the Tokai National Higher Education and Research System (hereinafter referred to as THERS) announced on February 24 the signing of a partnership to contribute to achieving sustainable development goals and realizing Society 5.0 through initiatives in the fields of healthcare and space technology.

As part of their partnership, Fujitsu and THERS will work towards achieving a society of well-being by creating a successful cycle model of community-based healthcare and medical care in the Tokai region of Japan. To enhance local healthcare services and contribute to addressing various societal issues, Fujitsu and THERS will leverage the research outcomes of THERS’ Center for Research, Education, and Development of life-design in healthcare (hereinafter referred to as C-REX) and advanced technologies, including the electronic medical records system developed by Fujitsu Japan and Fujitsu’s AI technologies.
