Broadcom Inc., a global technology leader in semiconductor software solutions and infrastructure, announced on November 22nd the completed acquisition of VMware, Inc. Broadcom will invest in VMware Cloud Foundation, a software suite serving as the foundation for private and hybrid clouds, while VMware will offer a rich catalog of services for cloud and edge environment modernization and optimization, including VMware Tanzu to aid in accelerating application deployment.
